DAY 1
Board your yacht in St. Thomas and after lunch, enjoy a
leisurely sail (or motor sail) to Francis Bay in the
U.S. National Park on St. John.
Have an afternoon swim, then walk the beach and enjoy your first
onboard Caribbean sunset. Savor a delicious dinner either in the
cockpit under the stars or below in the coziness of the main
salon.

Charlotte Amalie, St.
Thomas USVI
After breakfast depart for Leinster Bay and Waterlemon Cay, St
John for snorkeling, explore and a hike to the famous Annaberg
Plantation sugar mill ruin. Return for lunch onboard, then
cruise over to Jost Van Dyke and clear customs into the
British Virgin Islands.

DAY 2
Perhaps make plans for an island wedding in paradise.
This is also a good spot for a West Indian meal ashore at
moderate prices - an island pig roast perhaps? Explore Jost Van
Dyke and visit
Foxy's Tamarind Bar, as well as
other well known (or locally known!) beach bars – many currently
reveled in Kenny Chesney songs.

DAY 3
Sail around to Sandy Spit for a morning of beach combing and
snorkeling.
Maybe stop at Foxy's Taboo at Diamond Cay, or sail on to Cane
Garden Bay, Tortola - listen carefully to Jimmy Buffet's song
Mañana, and he sings about sailing in to Cane Garden Bay...

Moor
in Cane Garden Bay for the evening and walk along the beach to
the numerous bars and restaurants serving local food and great
music. Or sail to Tortola’s West End for lunch and a trip ashore
to
Pusser's Landing for a
"Painkiller" and shopping.
DAY 4

Sail to the Bight at
Norman Island and snorkel the
water- level Caves at Norman Island, rumored to be the basis for
Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

Visit the
"Willie T", a floating bar and
restaurant or dinghy over to Pirate's Bight ashore for local
roti (spicy curry wrapped meat and vegetables) and sunset
cocktails.
Pirates Bight announces Happy Hour with a blast from a pirate
cannon! Enjoy the sunset and/or their after dinner wildness.

Sail to
Cooper Island for lunch, then
enjoy an afternoon sail to Trellis Bay on Beef Island, just
north of Tortola. Check out Aragorn's Crafts and Historical
Shop. After dinner aboard, party at The Last Resort for Tony
Snelling's musical review or relax with a drink at Pusser's
Marina Cay – or float away your worries on board with your
favorite boat drink.
Marina Cay BVI

DAY 5
Sail to the infamous Baths on Virgin Gorda, house-sized boulders
forming fascinating pools and grottoes to explore. After lunch,
sail around to North Sound to visit the
Bitter End Yacht Club and
snorkel, windsurfing, water ski or go for a land hike on the BVI
National Park Trail. Almost any activity can be found in the
islands, year round.

DAY 6
Depart North Sound after
morning activities and lunch for a sail to
Peter Island, to a great
beach and great snorkeling on
Deadman's Bay in Great Harbour. Visit
Peter Island Yacht Club
- a very upscale resort- for shopping or a romantic dinner
ashore where jackets are required in season, if that is your
preference.
DAY 7

More water sports in the morning -possibly a SCUBA dive on the
coral-encrusted 1867 wreck of the British mail steamer
R.M.S. Rhone. Following lunch
onboard, sail to Cruz Bay St John to clear U.S. Customs. Check
out the cute local boutiques at
Mongoose Junction and Wharfside Village
where you'll find one of my favorite shops
Freebird, which has a nice
selection of St. John's Petroglyph jewelry.

OR...Sail to Christmas Cove on Great St. James Island for one
more chance at snorkeling or other watersports. Enjoy your last
evening aboard with another glorious Caribbean sunset and a
special dinner prepared by your chef.
DAY 8
After breakfast (with a farewell Bloody Mary or Mimosa,
perhaps?) and a final swim, return to Red Hook Bay on the east
end of St. Thomas or to the main harbor on the south side,
Charlotte Amalie. Downtown St Thomas offers some very fine last
minute duty free shopping before you catch your flight home.

Then, start dreaming of your next Virgin Islands vacation
